Graduations and formals
The school holds two graduations a year for Years 10 and 12. This event takes place in the school hall and all family and friends are welcome to attend. Year 12 graduation occurs towards the end of Term 3, while Year 10 graduation happens in early December. If you require any more information about Graduation please speak to the relevant Year Advisor.
Each of these year groups also celebrate these occasions by with a school Formal held around the same time as their graduations. These events are official school functions with only students and staff attending. For more information on the organisation and cost of the Formals please talk to the Year Advisors.
Orientation and Information Evenings
Throughout the year the school runs a number of events which invite parents and carers up to the school for information sessions.
Orientation Day seeks to introduce year 6 students and parents attending next year to the school and is an opportunity to meet teachers, see the school facilities, and ask questions.
Subject Selection evening is an information session that seeks to give details to Year 8 and 10 students about the courses they can choose to study next year.
HSC Holiday Workshops
To support Year 12 students with their learning, and preparation for the HSC exams, the school offers classes during most school holidays. These are run as workshops and timetables of these classes are given out at the end of Terms 1, 2 & 3. For more information see your Deputy Principal.
Sports Carnivals
The school runs a number of sporting carnivals throughout the year. The Swimming Carnival (Term 1) and the Athletics Carnival (Term 2) are held at external facilities and all students are expected to attend these events and compete for their house. The Cross Country carnival is run at school and students can elect to compete if they want to.
