School swimming carnival was held on 10th February at Emerton Leisure Centre. There was an array of enthusiastic students who came dressed in their house colours to participate and support their house groups. It was a very hot day which gave students a perfect opportunity to jump into the pool. We saw some fantastic performances from a range of students. Lizard lane, which was introduced a few years back, was exceptionally popular among the students. This lane allows students to swim in a non-competitive way to earn points for their house. After a very exciting Carnival, the overall winners with an impressive effort in the pools and an amazing War Cry were the Nymboida who claimed the Swimming trophy for 2017.
